Camp Wonder is a summer camp for children with any skin disease, ages 6 – 16, residing in North America. Each year, 100 children and young adults from around the country, who have been impacted by chronic skin disease, take a break from being a patient for a week and focus on just being a kid. Camp Wonder is a special place free of judgment and stares, where campers get relief from being self-conscious about their skin. Camp Wonder is a unique environment of acceptance and support, to empower the children to be themselves, not feel limited by their skin disease.

 

Children’s Skin Disease Foundation covers all costs associated with camp, even travel, because the families are already burdened by heavy medical expenses. No family pays for their child to attend Camp Wonder. CSDF raises money to provide this empowering experience at no cost to any family, including travel, thank you to our generous sponsors.

NOTE: Camper applicants must adhere to all vaccine regulations and have a doctor fill out paperwork confirming a skin disease diagnosis. We accept children regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.  For frequently asked questions, please visit this page.
